Museums today constitute an important part of our countrys cultural heritage, but their use is often precluded to a large segment of visitors with visual and hearing problems: the visually impaired, the blind and the deaf.
RTSense allows visitors with these problems to have a tactile experience to access knowledge of the site.At the same time, the installations can be enjoyed by able-bodied visitors who will have the opportunity to interact with the tactile photographic reproductions of the temples, acquiring useful information for their understanding.RTSense interacts with works of art made up of two-dimensional tactile panels in relief equipped with sensors that have the task of detecting and responding appropriately to interaction with users.By touching the panel reproducing any work, the user will be able to interact with it, creating a personal exploration path.This content is audio/video, in which the audio track is translated into Italian Sign Language.
